Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Nurélie ("Nurélie," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-assisted parenting and family-guidance app built around Harlow, our family coach. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have — including how to delete your account.

1. Information you provide to us

When you create a Nurélie account and use the app, you may provide:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password or sign-in credentials.
  • Family and child profile information — details you choose to share about your child or family, such as age and developmental stage, temperament, routines, sleep and behavior patterns, speech and communication milestones, and goals. You control what you share, and you are never required to provide a diagnosis or clinical information to use Nurélie.
  • Conversations with Harlow — the questions you ask and the guidance Harlow provides, which Nurélie uses to personalize future responses for your family.
  • Family Command information — schedules, tasks, and shared notes you or a caregiver you invite add to coordinate care across your household.
  • Communications — messages you send to our support team.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most apps, Nurélie automatically collects limited technical and usage information, including device type and operating system, app version, crash and diagnostic logs, and general usage analytics (such as which features are used and how often). We use this information to keep Nurélie reliable and to understand which parts of the product are most helpful.

3. How we use your information

  • To personalize Harlow's guidance to your specific child and family.
  • To power Family Command so caregivers you invite can stay coordinated.
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the app and develop new features.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, or support requests.
  • To maintain the security and integrity of our service and prevent misuse.

Nurélie is a supportive, educational tool. Harlow does not diagnose, treat, or replace a licensed pediatrician, therapist, psychologist, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, or other qualified professional, and we do not use your information to make medical or clinical determinations.

4. AI-assisted features (Harlow)

Harlow uses your family's profile and conversation history to generate personalized, non-clinical guidance. Some of this processing may be performed by carefully selected service providers that offer the underlying AI and cloud infrastructure Harlow runs on. These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for any purpose other than providing the service to Nurélie, and are not permitted to use your family's data to train their own general-purpose models.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who host our infrastructure, power Harlow, provide analytics, or support customer service — bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Caregivers you invite to your Family Command — who can see the shared family information you choose to make visible to them.
  • Specialists you choose to connect with, only when you affirmatively ask Nurélie to help bridge you to a speech-language professional, behavior specialist, occupational therapist, or other qualified provider.
  • Legal or safety purposes, if required by law or necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Nurélie, our users, or the public.
  • A successor, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a materially equivalent one.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Nurélie subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device you use. Apple and Google process your payment method directly — Nurélie does not receive or store your full payment card details. Any commission arrangements Nurélie has with promotional partners are calculated from subscription activity and do not involve sharing your personal information with those partners.

7. Children's and family privacy

Nurélie is designed to be used by parents and caregivers, who create and control the account. Information about a child is entered and managed by the parent or guardian who holds the account — Nurélie does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through independent use of the app. If you believe a child has created an account or provided information directly to us without a parent or guardian's involvement, please contact us at hello@nurelie.com so we can address it.

8. Data security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption of data in transit — designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your family's information.

9. Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app to you. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your profile, family and child information, and Harlow conversation history, except for a limited set of records we may need to retain for a period — such as transaction records associated with your subscription, or information needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud. See our Delete Your Account page for how to submit a deletion request.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account and family profile information directly in the app, and you can request deletion at any time via our account deletion page. To exercise any other privacy right, contact us at hello@nurelie.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated within the app or by email.

12. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your family's information, contact us at hello@nurelie.com. Nurélie is based in Georgia, U.S.A.
